Transportation Services

The Lodge provides a varitey of transportation services to assist you in getting around Whitefish.

AIRPORT & AMTRAK TRANSFERS

Transportation to & from the airport (FCA) & Whitefish Amtrak Depot is provided based on availability for arrivals & departures scheduled between 7a & 10p. Advance reservations are required. Call 406.863.4000 or e-mail your travel details to [email protected] at least 3 days prior to travel.

We recommend departing The Lodge at least 2 hours prior to scheduled flight departures. The Lodge is not responsible for any missed flights.


DOWNTOWN SHUTTLE SERVICE

Shuttle service is offered to our downtown sister property, The Firebrand Hotel & Restaurant. Shuttles leave The Lodge at the top of each hour every other hour between 8a & 2p and every hour between 2p and 11p. Return trips from The Firebrand depart on the 10s.

Addtionally, the free community S.N.O.W BUS offers seasonal transportation to and from Whitefish Mountain Resort and various stops around Whitefish. The bus boards at the south end of the Viking parking lot along Wisconsin Ave. Summer season begins end of May. Visit bigmtncommercial.org.


BRASH RODEO SHUTTLE SERVICE

Lodge Shuttles to the Blue Moon Brash Rodeo Series in Columbia Falls. Shuttles depart from The Lodge at 6:30p. Return trips back to The Lodge will depart from the front entrance of Murdoch’s across from The Blue Moon at 10:15p.

Guests must sign up by 5p with the concierge staff. Cost is $25 per person, round trip.


SKI SHUTTLES

Scheduled Lodge Ski Shuttle service is available to and from Whitefish Mountain Resort during ski season. Early morning Lodge Shuttles fill up fast, so please be patient.

  • Departs at the Viking Lodge : 8:30a | 9:30a | 10:30a | 12:30p
  • Departs WMR Base Lodge : 12:45p | 3:00p | 3:45p | 4:45p

Additional free transportaion to and from The Lodge and Whitefish Mountain Resort is also offered through the community S.N.O.W. Bus. The Bus boards from The Lodge at the south entrance of the Viking parking lot along Wisconsin Avenue.
