Cyndy Stanley is inspired & balanced by Yoga and feels it a great privilege to share this powerful whole-life practice...Yoga is truly inner exploration, excavation even, a journey of self-discovery. Yoga found Cyndy in 2001 - she quickly realized few other things allowed her to connect with her body in a loving, accepting way. While drawn to an active/Yang/athletic practice in the early days, her first downward dog was rigid & unyielding yet she soon cultivated a devoted Asana practice. In 2011 Cyndy completed her first 200-hr Hatha Yoga certification in Whitefish, Montana; that first training set the bar high & only sparked her quest for more inquiry - further certifications include YIN Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, & Energy Medicine Yoga - continued studies encompass TCM’s Five Element Theory. Navigating our body’s amazing capacity to heal itself, in addition to our relation to the Earths cycles & rhythms - we are indeed Forces of Nature! Yoga works with our energies as well as our nature, both our physical & our emotional body, cultivating awareness & spiritual growth, empowering us to be incredibly proactive in our own well-being and mental health.

Cyndy is passionate about yoga, simple living and thrives on the great outdoors. Her sense of adventure - in nature & in life - is evident through her teaching. A nomad at heart, fortunate to call Whitefish, MT her home base, Cyndy takes any opportunity to travel & explore.

Yoga with Cyndy

Cyndy much prefers to be called a guide rather than a teacher, as she wants you to become your own guru! She guides her students in a thoughtful, creative manner; encourages a balance of effort & ease by linking breath with movement; and integrates meditation & breath work for a well-rounded practice. Her intention is to empower individuals to listen to their inner wisdom and learn from their own subtle energies, breath & body. Cyndy strives to navigate her students through a more feeling practice, honoring the experiential nature rather than a particular outcome or expectation.
