The third annual Whitefish Woody Weekend enticed numerous spectators and classic boat owners to revel in the days of old, where exquisite craftsmanship and a high level of detail reign supreme within the wooden boating community. With less than 10,000 wooden boats in America, it's easy to see why so many people are drawn to these gorgeous vessels.
This year's event proved to be the busiest yet, despite having less sunshine than last year. With nearly three dozen wooden boats participating, the competition for Best in Show was high. The Twin Finn took home the People's Choice Award, while the Malibu won the Captain's Choice Award.
